Overhead glazing Forster thermfix vario SV
The Forster thermfix vario SV system is a fully insulated transom/mullion construction for glazed roofs and inclined areas, based on the dry-glazing system. The load is borne by the steel or stainless steel profile structure erected on the inside.
Forster thermfix vario SV was the first system to be successfully tested under realistic conditions by the Swiss Federal Material Testing Institute EMPA at various roof angles (15, 30, 45 and 60 degrees) for permeability of joints and rain impact resistance (resistance to driving rain)

Starting material
- Steel, bright or
- Steel, galvanised (GV/GC) or
- Stainless steel 1.4301, surface quality: grinded (220-240 grain)

- Visible width 60 mm - Section depths: 50/75/90/110/130/150 mm
Slope of roof
- Continuous from 15 to 60 Grad
Protection and safety
- Resistance to driving rain: stress group C (600 Pa)
